The reception team at St Anne's are available on the telephones from 8.00am to 6.30pm. (The telephones switch to the out of hours service at 6.30pm)

Extended Hours

Our surveys of patient opinion suggest that over 90% of people are happy and willing to use our services during the hours 8.00am - 6.30pm but that some would appreciate the ability to see a doctor slightly later in the evening. For some time now the surgery has offered appointments up to 8pm that have proved popular. These have allowed patients who work or commute or those who need family to bring them to the surgery to see a doctor at a more convenient time as well as allowing pre-booked appointment with specific doctors. Our nurses also run a lot of their clinics during these times, for example diabetes, asthma, blood pressure and family planning.

N.B  All registered patients can book into the sessions.

 

Improved Access Clinics

We now offer GP appointments every evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturday and Sunday mornings. These clinics are held within the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at the Queen Victoria Memorial Hospital. The appointments are pre-bookable only and can be made via the surgery.
